A Christmas Carol
I thought A Christmas Carol was okay. I like the fact that we had the audio reading in class instead of individual readings because the sound effects of the audio helped give a better visual of the characters. One thing I did not like about having a audio reading is that it's hard to follow the story because there are less concentration to the audio. There were times during the audio reading that I would doze off to thinking something else. I wished that we watch the movie in class, because it would be more fun comparing the audio to the movie.

I agree with your post. I like how we had the audio reading, but at the same time it was hard to concentrate on it because I honestly zone out when not actually reading in the book. I think if we watched the movie it would have been better, but at the same time there are so many versions that we would have to pick one and I think that would be a problem because some people are picky on which version to watch.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree as well that the audio helped alot with the visualization of the story, however i would have liked to see the jim carrey version of a christmas carol because he is one of the most imspiring men of my life i hope that if my career in acting lifts off of the ground that i can be as great of an actor as he is
ReplyDeleteTrue that. I didn't want to sit there and just listen to a radio. It felt like a bedtime story. Haha. Doze off a bit. Pay attention for a second. Doze off again. Doodle a bit. Pay attention again.
